Meet 6 month old Foxy! Foxy and his brother, Moxy, are from San Jose. Their mother brought them to their caretakers' backyard, where they fed and cared for the whole family. The dynamic duo, as they were lovingly called, loved our backyard and made it their hangout and playground. Although they were stray kittens the first few months of life, the boys adjusted well to indoor life since the first of August! They both love their crunchy treats and go crazy over their squishy/lickable treats; they can’t resist them. Here is what their foster has to say about Foxy!: "Foxy is curious, playful, and full of energy. Foxy enjoys getting ear rubs, chin scratches, and lovens on his terms (he doesn’t care for sitting still in your lap; he prefers to sit beside you to get his lovens). Foxy loves chasing his feather toy at full force, showing off his acrobatic skills, and climbing cat trees. Foxy can still be a little shy at first, but his feather toy always gets him out and active." Foxy has a Grade IV heart murmur that was diagnosed at his last vet checkup, though his vet cleared him for the "stressors" of the lounge and recommends regular check ups to keep an eye on any physical changes to his heart, and it definitely does NOT slow him down. Foxy and Moxy are currently at the lounge being treated for a very common intestinal parasite called coccidia. Their re-test date is set for 10/21, but they are available while they wait!
